We are a young couple (20) and we live in Ohio. We are looking for a vacation idea for 3-5 days in March somewhere that we haven’t been. Did I mention this is on a college student budget? This would be the Eastern states (North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania) and the longest drive there should be 9-10 hours. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well… I think you might actually be surprised what you can find in ohio… We went to Put in Bay for a extra long weekend and we had a blast… We went to a winery… and toured (free) got a free glass of wine and had a cheap dessert there… We took the Jet express over to kelly’s island and toured all kinds of shops and… they have different kinds of rock formations…. lighthouses.. fishing… all free…. They also had a chocolate factory, a cave with tours… put put and a butterfly house….. Perry’s Caves…. In port clinton they also have a drive through safarri… which was inexpensive and a childrens zoo…… We actually were able to find a LOT to do right there……
