my boyfriend and I want to take a small vacation together, but we’re both college students and don’t have a ton of money. We just want to get away from home for a little while. any ideas would be appreciated =)

I would recommend a road trip to New Mexico or Arizona. Road trips are usually less expensive because you’re not buying airline tickets or needing to rent a car.
There are plenty of sights to see in both states, most notably the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and most of them are in parks so they’re pretty cheap or even free. If you want more tips, check out the link below.
Some type of camping trip is the most economical. That assumes that you have or can borrow some camping equipment. Your surrounding states and Texas itself have a tom of options for outdoorsy vacations.
